A creepypasta is basically scary stories from the internet and has a ton of them like 2,453 pages on creepypasta wiki. Anyways they are scary stories from Urban legends to scary myths, user submitted monsters, haunted hacked or modded games, and real life killers. Most of them are fake.

They are really famous and almost everyone made their own. Some of them are called trollpastas. Which are extremely bad such as A Haunting Most Mario. Some famous ones like Jeff the Killer, BEN, Slenderman, The Rake, Mothman, Eyeless Jack, Seedeater (possibly the scariest one) Dead Bart, Squidward's Suicide and Ed Edd n Eddy episode 34 etc.
